A PEOPLE-CENTRIC ENVIRONMENT
People are at the heart of our company's history: since 1755, more than 10 generations of watchmakers have been creating timepieces without interruption. Humility, the demand for a job well done, a sense for beauty: our teams share these values, which make up Vacheron Constantin’s unique character.
COLLECTIVE engagements
Our priority is to offer a working environment that supports all people in developing their full potential and contributing actively to the company's sustainable development.
Our commitment also extends to the communities around us. We are active on the ground, through several "giving-back" partnerships, to help people who are in precarious professional situation to find work again.
Key facts
A fulfilling and fair working environment
At Vacheron Constantin, we pay particular attention to supporting our teams throughout their careers within the company and the Group. We provide a comfortable working environment that is adapted to each of our colleagues, allowing them to develop and progress through ongoing training and to contribute, in their own way, to the various projects of the Maison.
At Vacheron Constantin, we offer equal pay for equal work. We obtained the EQUAL SALARY certification in November 2020 for our headquarter and manufactures in Switzerland, and globally since March 2023 as part of the Group certification.
To take our actions in favour of gender equality a step further, we partner with the ‘Elles Bougent’ association, whose aim is to attract young women, schoolgirls and students to scientific, technical, and engineering fields and careers. Four of our employees are patrons of the initiative.
We offer our teams a working environment that is fair but also as fulfilling as possible, just like the ‘Vacheron Experience’. Over two weeks, the heart of our Maison beats to the rhythm of this annual internal event, during which our employees have access to various high-quality workshops, meetings and conferences. This allows the Vacheron Constantin community to grow and move forward together.
Each employee is encouraged to build his/her own personalised training and development path, with the active support of managers and the HR team.
Through the MyDevelopment tool all employees have unlimited access to a global on-demand learning platform in multiple languages.
Discovery missions are offered to those who wish to nurture their curiosity within the company, in our workshops and in the group. It helps our teams to foster agility and multi-skilling, as well as satisfying personal aspirations.
Feeling good in the workplace is essential to achieving and maintaining the quality levels expected by our Maison.
By listening carefully to employees' suggestions, we have been able to put in place a range of regular measures to promote individual well-being: flexible working hours, ergonomics of all workstations, free health checks, sport classes and massages and on-demand first aid training.
Vacheron Constantin teams at the heart of the company's sustainable transformation path

Key facts
Supporting employability and professional integration
Giving everyone the same opportunities to fulfil their potential is one of the core values of our commitment to society. This is embodied in our collaborative efforts to enhance people's employability and promote professional integration within the wider community.
Our action to promote employability is embodied in our partnership, since 2021, with Démarche, a not-for-profit public interest cooperative that supports beneficiaries in their integration into the labour market. Our financial support and volunteer hours enable us to support 145 beneficiaries a year, 65 of whom found a job or vocational training in 2023.
In parallel, every year we take on trainees from the TRT network (Agence "Travailleur Recherche Travail") to work in our watchmaking teams on 4 to 8 weeks missions.
80% of disabilities are invisible. A significant proportion of the population suffers from various conditions without daring to declare them in the workplace. To raise awareness amongst our teams and create a welcoming working environment for people with neurodiverse specificities, we are carrying out a number of initiatives aimed at supporting our teams, thanks to several paths of collaboration with local specific organisations.
Our employees can also get involved by volunteering with non-for-profit organisations. We encourage them to volunteer via a digital platform that connects them with local associations. Each employee can dedicate 8 hours a year of their working time to volunteering with associations such as Le Caré day centre, the Partage association, Le Vestiaire Solidaire de Carouge, etc.
