A new artistic experience by Kate MccGwire
Club 1755 presents Held in Motion: Kate MccGwire on Time, Nature and Precision.
British, London-based artist Kate MccGwire, transforms feathers through a labour-intensive process of collecting, sorting and hand placing, to create muscular writhing forms that recall classical sculpture and mythological creatures.
Staged within the intimate setting of Club 1755, this exhibition brings together sculptures and wall pieces, each shaped by MccGwire’s singular, hypnotic process.
Exploration is a fundamental source of wonder, driving innovation and creativity and is the very essence of the Maison’s identity, also reflecting within MccGwire’s own patient, transformative practice.

Discover beautiful hand-crafted objects from across the UK including backgammon boards by Alexandra Llewellyn, luxurious throws made of British Alpaca wool designed and created by Araminta Campbell exclusively for Vacheron Constantin and various other objects from independent artisans.
Enjoy a selection of wines and rarified spirits curated specifically for Club 1755 and a cigar on the terrace overlooking Old Bond Street.
