The spirit of adventure and the art of time
Cory Richards, an accomplished mountaineer, adventurer, and National Geographic photographer. Known for his daring expeditions in some of the world’s most extreme environments, Richards pushes the boundaries of human endurance while capturing breathtaking imagery of nature’s most remote and powerful landscapes. His work, which spans high-altitude summits and uncharted terrains, reflects a deep connection to the wild and untamed forces of the earth.
Every adventure undertaken by Cory Richards is a testament to the power of nature to teach, challenge, and inspire. His expeditions are more than just physical feats; they are profound experiences that shape his understanding of the world and of time itself. Through his eyes, we see not only the raw beauty of the earth but also the incredible resilience required to navigate its most extreme environments. This journey, both internal and external, echoes the relentless pursuit of perfection that defines Vacheron Constantin.
Spirit of Exploration
In 2019, Cory Richards undertook his third ascent of the ‘roof of the world’ via the North-East Ridge – considered the most difficult and perilous route – with an Overseas dual time prototype specially developed by Vacheron Constantin on his wrist.
In 2021, the Overseas collection is reaching new heights and exploring new aesthetic territories with two 150-piece limited editions: Overseas chronograph “Everest” and Overseas dual time “Everest”. Inspired by the prototype developed in 2019, those new models are distinguished by a powerful and bold design. Setting a signature touch, their 22K pink gold oscillating weight is adorned with an engraving of Mount Everest inspired by a photograph taken by Cory Richards.
In 2026, Vacheron Constantin presents four new references, Overseas Dual Time Cardinal Points that follow in the footsteps of the previous three models.
Entirely crafted in titanium, conceived and designed to ensure not only a degree of robustness that can withstand extreme conditions but also supreme comfort on the wrist.

Each dial colour embodies a cardinal point, North, South, East and West, transforming orientation into design. Together, they form a contemporary compass, crafted for a world in motion.
