HIGHLIGHTS
A contemporary reissue
With the Historiques 222 in 18K 3N yellow gold, Vacheron Constantin offers an updated interpretation of the legendary original "Jumbo". Endowed with the latest technical advances to optimise reliability and ergonomic comfort, this iteration shares the relaxed elegance of its predecessor.
The importance of details
The codes emblematic of the 222 are scrupulously respected: 37 mm diameter, fluted bezel, gold-tone dial, straight hour-markers and baton-type hands. Likewise, the integrated bracelet with hexagonal central links, as well as the Maltese cross in polished Pd150 white gold, soldered onto the flat table of the case at 5 o'clock. Changes are largely subtle and functional, as witness the Calibre 2455/2 delivering enhanced precision.
