The importance of details

The codes emblematic of the 222 are scrupulously respected: 37 mm diameter, fluted bezel, gold-tone dial, straight hour-markers and baton-type hands. Likewise, the integrated bracelet with hexagonal central links, as well as the Maltese cross in polished Pd150 white gold, soldered onto the flat table of the case at 5 o'clock. Changes are largely subtle and functional, as witness the Calibre 2455/2 delivering enhanced  precision.
