Traditionnelle tourbillon chronograph Collection Excellence Platine
5100T/000P-H041 42.5 mm Platinum
Entirely sculpted in 950 platinum - case, dial, buckles and strap stitching - this Collection Excellence Platine model comes in a 50-piece limited edition. This watch combines two Fine Watchmaking grand complications: the power of the single-push chronograph movement and the sophistication of the tourbillon. At 12 o’clock, the tourbillon cage, whose shape is inspired by the Maltese cross, is set in motion by an intermediary wheel on the seconds display, allowing for a larger opening on the mechanism. To add the finishing touch to the power reserve indicator shown at 6 o’clock and the 45-minute counter at 3 o’clock, a tachymeter scale adorns the edge of the dial, beautifully complementing the railroad-style minute counter.

Highlights
A rare and precious 50-piece limited edition
Combining two noble complications with the latest technological advances, this model pays tribute to the grand watchmaking traditions with an aesthetic that is as functional as it is original in terms of its display. Attired in platinum throughout its 42.5 mm-diameter case, crown, dial, clasp and strap stitching, this watch incorporates a monopusher chronograph with a tourbillon regulator.
An exceptional in-house movement
Calibre 3200 was developed for the Maison’s 260th anniversary in 2015. At just 6.7 mm thick, this 292-part in-house manual-winding movement is remarkably slim for such a complex timepiece. Its tourbillon regulator and monopusher chronograph function incorporated into the movement stem from extensive research aimed at optimising its functionality. Operating at the fairly sedate pace of 18,000 vibrations per hour (2.5 Hz), the regulator honours the mechanical ballet of the tourbillon bearing the small seconds indication.
A collector’s timepiece
The meticulous finishing endows this Traditionnelle tourbillon chronograph with a special radiance stemming from a blend of mechanical complexity and aesthetic elegance. The stitching on the dark blue alligator strap is crafted from braided silk and platinum thread, an extremely rare offering that has become a true signature of the Maison.
