How to participate
By entering the Selection, you accept all the Participation Rules below. We strongly encourage you to read them!
From January, 19th, 2026 until April, 30th, 2026, VACHERON CONSTANTIN will collect and gather the information you will provide regarding your VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepiece(s). During this time Participants will be asked to share serial numbers, pictures and a story about their VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepiece (through text) using the dedicated website area online: https://www.vacheron-constantin.com/concours-elegance-horlogere.html.

Participants are strongly advised to read the Participation Rules carefully before participating in the Selection. Applying to the selection (giving serial numbers of his/her timepiece, pictures, stories), each Participant expressly acknowledges and accepts the Participation Rules.
In order to take part to the selection, Participants will be asked to (i) send serial numbers, dedicated text presentation and the original and unmodified file of their watch photograph, (ii) indicate their e-mail address and phone number and (iii) select a watch category for each submitted VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepiece among the following ones: (1) Chiming mechanism, (2) Chronographs, (3) Astronomical complications, (4) Multiple complications, (5) Chronomètre Royal, (6) Métiers d’art and (7) Design.
Each submitted timepiece can only participate in one category. A Participant can submit several timepieces for consideration.
The competition is open to owners of VACHERON CONSTANTIN pocket watches and wristwatches launched between 1755 and 1999. Only complete VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepieces (movement and case) are eligible for the Selection.
Eligible pieces will be evaluated according to nine criteria: authenticity, elegance, rarity, impact on the history of Vacheron Constantin and/or on watchmaking in general, provenance, technicality, Métiers d'art (artistic crafts), state of preservation and emotional dimension.
Each watch will only be allowed to compete in one of the seven categories of this edition, at the owner's choice:
- Chiming mechanism: pocket watches and wristwatches equipped exclusively with a minute repeater, quarter repeater, half-quarter repeater or grande sonnerie.
- Chronographs: pocket watches and wristwatches equipped with a two- or three-counter chronograph, a single pusher, or a split-seconds mechanism.
- Astronomical complications: pocket watches and wristwatches equipped with a triple calendar, a complete calendar or a perpetual calendar.
- Multiple complications: pocket watches and wristwatches combining at least two complications - tourbillon, repeater (quarters or minutes), striking mechanism, chronograph, split-seconds, complete or perpetual calendar, sky chart.
- Chronomètre Royal: pocket watches and wristwatches bearing the official designation "Chronomètre Royal" issued from 1907.
- Métiers d'art: pocket watches and wristwatches featuring engraving, enameling, gem -setting, guilloché or any other decorative craft, except for skeleton pieces.
- Design: pocket watches and wristwatches featuring Vacheron Constantin's signature design, either in the case or through the time display – retrograde display, jumping hour, world time, etc.
A special prize may be attributed by VACHERON CONSTANTIN, the “Best of show” (i.e., a timepiece exceeding all aspects of the Jury’s notation in the above mentioned categories).
This special prize implies winning limitations: the winner of the "Best of show" is not eligible to win any other category.
If a Participant does not win the "Best of show," he/ she is eligible to win a maximum of two other categories.
Before sending his/her text, pictures, serial numbers, the Participant must ensure that:
- The text and photographs do not promote any brand other than VACHERON CONSTANTIN;
- The Participant is the exclusive holder of all rights in particular intellectual property rights related to the text and photographs and they do not contain any element whatsoever that might infringe a third party’s rights in any way;
- The text and photographs do not in any way reflect negatively on anyone’s image or reputation;
- The text and photographs are not in any way violent or pornographic, and will not in any way whatsoever harm the dignity or any other rights of any third party;
- The text and photographs do not contain any computer virus or other code designed to destroy, divert, interrupt or limit any computer system in any way;
- Photographs will be submitted in the following format: FULL JPEG;
- And, overall, that the submitted text and/ or photograph and/ or video do not in any way contravene any of the website current legislation.
VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right not to accept or to remove from the Selection any text and/or photograph and/or information that does not comply with the above-mentioned conditions.
By posting their texts and/or photographs and/or information on the website, Participants expressly authorise VACHERON CONSTANTIN to reproduce, display and more generally use the texts and /or photographs and/or information both on and off-line, on the VACHERON CONSTANTIN and other websites on which it communicates and publications it may at any time choose to produce without restriction or limitation.

1. Participation Rules
1.1. These Participation Rules (“Rules”) apply to the VACHERON CONSTANTIN Concours d'Élégance Horlogère (the "Selection"). By entering the Selection, Participants expressly agree to be bound by these Rules. However, this Selection shall be void where prohibited by local la
1.2. The Selection is promoted and organised by VACHERON CONSTANTIN, Branch of Richemont International SA, Chemin du Tourbillon 10, 1228 PLAN-LES-OUATES, SWITZERLAND (hereinafter referred to as “VACHERON CONSTANTIN”.)
1.3. The Selection is open for participation on vacheron-constantin.com [MR1] and in the Maison's boutiques. from January, 19th, 2026 – 9am CET until April, 30th, 2026 – 11:59pm CET and each Participant will participate in the Selection by posting the requested pictures, serial numbers, dedicated requested texts, indicating their e-mail address and phone number, and choosing a watch category for each submitted VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepiece among the following ones: (1) Chiming mechanism, (2) Chronographs, (3) Astronomical complications, (4) Multiple complications, (5) Chronomètre Royal, (6) Métiers d’art and (7) Design.
1.4. Each submitted timepiece can only participate in one category. A Participant can submit several timepieces for consideration.
1.5. The competition is open to owners of VACHERON CONSTANTIN pocket watches and wristwatches launched between 1755 and 1999. Only complete VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepieces (movement and case) are eligible for the Selection, they do not need to be functional but in a correct condition, without any major damage and/or components modifications not from VACHERON CONSTANTIN. Movements or cases sold separately are not eligible. Quartz watches, clocks, and pieces that have undergone major modifications, as listed in the below regulations, are excluded.
Movement Modification:
- Replacement of the original movement with a different movement (e.g., switching from a quartz movement to a mechanical movement and vice versa, or replacing one mechanical caliber with another).
- Significant structural modifications to the existing movement using components not from VACHERON CONSTANTIN, such as a bridge.
Case Modification:
- Change of case material (for example, switching from steel to gold or platinum).
- Modification of the case shape or size, or of the lugs.
- Addition of gem settings (diamonds, sapphires, etc.) that were not original and not performed by VACHERON CONSTANTIN,
Dial Modification:
- Replacement of the original dial with a dial from an external source to Vacheron Constantin.
Bracelet Modification:
- If a bracelet is added by soldering, it must be excluded.
1.6. Participants are strongly advised to read the Participation Rules carefully before participating in the Selection. By entering the Selection, you accept all the Participation Rules. If you do not understand the Rules, then you should not participate.
1.7. VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right to cancel the Selection and/or change the Rules at any time without prior notice to Participants. Any change will be posted on the VACHERON CONSTANTIN website.
2. Qualifying Participants
2.1. The Selection is NOT open to minors and to qualify to enter the Selection you must be of legal age in the country of your residence (for example, over 18 in most European countries) but at least 18 years old. VACHERON CONSTANTIN assumes that by entering the Selection you warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter the Selection and accept the Rules (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract). VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right to request proof of age and capacity.
2.2 The Selection is open to Participants owning a Vacheron Constantin timepiece. The Jury reserves the right to determine whether the Participant meets the requirements above.
2.3 Only the owners of the VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepieces can submit them to the Selection and must retain them as their property until the final judging phase of the Selection. Any timepiece sold by a Participant between the entry phase and the final judging phase will be automatically withdrawn from the Selection. Should a new owner wish to participate, the Maison reserves the right to accept or reject their request.
2.4 Employees and immediate family members of VACHERON CONSTANTIN and/ or affiliates, the Jury members and their immediate family members, professional advisors, advertising and promotional agencies connected with the creation or administration of the Selection are not eligible to take part in the Selection. VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Participants.
2.5 There is no purchase requirement to participate in the Selection, no contract to sign with VACHERON CONSTANTIN and there is no charge to register for the Selection other than the usual Internet connection charges payable to your service provider and/or telephone company.
2.6 By participating in the Selection, you hereby warrant that all personal details you might be required to submit are true, current and complete.
2.7 Participants will not post any defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive or illegal information or material and will not use the Selection or the official VACHERON CONSTANTIN website, in any offensive or illegal manner. Attacks against other Participants or persons or entities affiliated with VACHERON CONSTANTIN will not be tolerated. "Spamming" in any form is strictly forbidden.
2.8 VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right to disqualify any Participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the Participant has breached any of these Rules, has otherwise behaved in an unfair or fraudulent way, or has unduly used their influence to direct online traffic to the Selection.
3. The Selection – Entries - Results
3.1 The Selection begins on January, 19th, 2026 – 9am CET and ends on April, 30th, 2026 – 11:59pm CET.
3.2 Texts and photographs and serial numbers as well as choice of watch category of the VACHERON CONSTANTIN timepieces submitted to the Selection must be posted on the official VACHERON CONSTANTIN Website, before April, 30th, 2026 – 11:59pm CET. Submissions after this time and date will be ignored. Any incomplete or inaccurate postings will be ignored and not included in the Selection.
3.3 Started Spring 2026, participants will be contacted by Vacheron Constantin through direct contact thanks to the information left online by participants.
3.4. At the end of the Selection the Jury will meet early November to designate the winners among the Participants. The 35 selected timepieces’ owners per category will be invited in Geneva on Tuesday 10 November 2026 and will be granted an award in the form of a trophy, without financial compensation.
3.5. VACHERON CONSTANTIN cannot accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission or mail delivery, communications line failure, theft, destruction, corruption, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
4. Exhibition
4.1. The timepieces nominated in accordance with Article 3.4 are displayed during an exhibition prior to the awards ceremony. In the event of public health imperatives, this exhibition can be cancelled.
4.2. It is imperative that the 35 watches nominated by the Jury will be made available to VACHERON CONSTANTIN at least between 10 September 2026 and 10 December 2026 (Participants will be directly contacted for exact days and details).
4.3. The transportation of the 35 selected watches (in case of customs-related difficulties) will be taken over by a specialist company for high-value products, and VACHERON CONSTANTIN covers all exhibition expenses (insurance, security, presentation).
5. Parameters
5.1 Before posting his/her text and photograph and serial numbers on the official VACHERON CONSTANTIN Website, Participants must ensure that:
- The text and photographs do not promote any brand other than VACHERON CONSTANTIN;
- The Participant is the exclusive holder of all rights in particular intellectual property rights related to the text and photographs and they do not contain any element whatsoever that might infringe a third party’s rights in any way;
- The text and photographs do not in any way reflect negatively on anyone’s image or reputation;
- The text and photographs are not in any way violent or pornographic, and will not in any way whatsoever harm the dignity or any other rights of any third party;
- The text and photographs do not contain any computer virus or other code designed to destroy, divert, interrupt or limit any computer system in any way;
- Photographs will be submitted in the following format: FULL JPEG;
- And, overall, that the submitted text and/or photograph and/or video do not in any way contravene any of the website current legislation.
5.2 VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right not to accept any text and picture and information submitted for the Selection that does not in its opinion and at its entire discretion comply with the above-mentioned conditions.
5.3 By posting text, pictures and serial numbers, Participants expressly authorise VACHERON CONSTANTIN to reproduce, display and more generally use them both on and off-line, on the VACHERON CONSTANTIN and other websites on which it communicates and publications it may at any time choose to produce without restriction or limitation. To this end and on submission of their texts and photographs and serial numbers to the Selection, Participants expressly waive their moral rights in and to the texts and photographs and serial numbers and will not in any way do anything to invoke such rights to the detriment of VACHERON CONSTANTIN. Despite the foregoing, VACHERON CONSTANTIN will where possible credit the author of text and/or photograph and/or serial numbers posted.
5.4. Each Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless VACHERON CONSTANTIN and their respective parent companies and affiliates from and against all claims arising out of or resulting from valid claims from third parties whose work they have copied or otherwise infringed.
6. Liability
6.1 VACHERON CONSTANTIN does not accept liability for any damage, loss, pain or suffering incurred by any Participant entering the Selection. VACHERON CONSTANTIN is not responsible for any problems with local postal services or technical faults, be they in networks or telephone lines, computer systems, servers or suppliers, mobile telephones or computer equipment or software failing of any email system or entry form received due to technical problems or to congestion related to the Internet, telephone lines or any website, or any combination thereof, including any damage or prejudice to the Participant’s telephone computer or to any other person or mobile linked with or related to participation in or downloading of material on VACHERON CONSTANTIN’s internet site, be it related to the Selection or not.
7. Data Protection and Publicity
7.1 VACHERON CONSTANTIN reserves the right to use, and the participants expressly agree that VACHERON CONSTANTIN may use all photographs and films taken at any event that may be organised at the discretion of VACHERON CONSTANTIN. This use may include use on the Internet, such as VACHERON CONSTANTIN's website, its social network pages including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram You Tube etc., mobile applications and all advertising and publicity collateral.
7.2 The participants grant VACHERON CONSTANTIN, the non-exclusive right to use, disseminate and reproduce his/her picture, text and information related to his/her timepiece or any other attribute of his/her personality as it appears in any film, photograph etc. taken at any event that may be organised free of charge for ten (10) years from the end of the Selection in any media whatsoever, at the discretion of VACHERON CONSTANTIN. The winner also consents to his/her personal data including his/her picture, voice or any other attribute of their personality being transferred out of the country in which the data was originally collected.
7.3 Other than as is required for the administration of the Selection and as stated in these Rules, any personal data provided to VACHERON CONSTANTIN relating to Participants will be destroyed in the six months following the end of the final Selection. If you request disclosure, correction, deletion or that VACHERON CONSTANTIN stop using your personal data, VACHERON CONSTANTIN will deal with such requests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The deletion of your personal data or a request for VACHERON CONSTANTIN to stop using it will result in the cancellation of your enrolment in the Selection. 8. Applicable law
8.1 In the event of any dispute whether such dispute concerns the conduct or eligibility of Participants, results or all other matters relating to the Selection, VACHERON CONSTANTIN's decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered.
8.2 For all other matters the Participation Rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with Swiss law. Disputes arising in connection with these Participation Rules shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Swiss courts.

A. Composition of the official 2026 Jury
1.1. Co-chaired by Aurel Bacs and Christian Selmoni, the Jury will bring together watchmaking experts and watchmakers, designers, historians, journalists and authors, collectors, advisors, and key players in the watch industry to ensure a cross-disciplinary approach combining technical mastery, heritage value and market understanding.
1.2. The Jury is composed of 14 members, as follows:
