Complete servicing of a modern watch
Complete service is a complex task that requires hours of work and preserves the value, integrity and reliability of your timepiece. In the hands of our watchmakers, your Vacheron Constantin piece is completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned and repaired if necessary – all the attention that an exceptional watch deserves. The servicing of a timepiece may vary depending on each particular case. The complete servicing of a modern timepiece takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks once the cost estimate has been accepted.

Restoration of a vintage watch
Few Manufacturers are able to restore all the watches ever issued by their workshops, and none has a history as long as Vacheron Constantin. That is why the Maison makes it a point of honour to pass on horological savoir-faire and ensure that the story of each watch can be timeless.
Restoration differs fundamentally from standard servicing, requiring exhaustive knowledge of the Maison’s history, rigorous application of savoir-faire and sometimes rare tools. Given the age of some pieces, it is not uncommon for artisans or master watchmakers to handcraft missing components that no longer exist using traditional means.

Whichever service you choose, maintaining a vintage timepiece is a real challenge that must be met with the utmost care to preserve the original characteristics of your watch. Therefore, the restoration may vary from 3 to 6 months, depending on your request and the interventions required.

In order to offer you a level of service in line with your expectations, we are present all over the world. Any of our exclusive Vacheron Constantin Boutiques, as well as authorised retailers, can organise maintenance of your watch at your nearest Service Centre. Your watch may also be deposited at a Vacheron Constantin Boutique that features a watchmaking team.
For your convenience, we are happy to arrange for your Vacheron Constantin timepiece to be sent directly for servicing by your local Vacheron Constantin Service Centre.
