The First ‘One of Not Many’ Mentorship Program

Discover the unique learning opportunities six young Emirati women explored when mentored by six successful Emirati entrepreneurs. Through their six-month journeys, mentees were given tailor made programs based on their career aspirations in hopes of starting their own professional projects.

HIND & LATIFA

Paired with fashion designer Latifa al Gurg, Hind Al Khoory managed to create her own athletic line TRACE in a short period of six months. ’TRACE’ aims to fill the market gap of modest yet stylistic sports wear. Latifa helped her with drawing a business strategy and introduced her to the textile world. Hind is currently interning at Vacheron Constantin.

"The mentorship program was an unforgettable experience! Unique and exciting from beginning to end. I’ve learned to be patient, strategic and creative all at once. I’ve learned so many skills which I will surely use in the future.”  - Hind Al Khoory.

MAITHA & SALAMA

Maitha Al Khazraji was guided by restaurant entrepreneur, Salama Al Shamsi, to learn the fundamentals of the Food and Beverage industry in hopes of opening up her own bakery. The program allowed her to finalize a business plan, a mood board and a menu for her up and coming culinary venture.

“My time spent with Salma has been such a learning curve for me! I learned so much about the F&B industry and its secrets that no text book will ever teach me.” - Maitha Al Khazraji.
