Elements of time
Taking inspiration from the archetypal hourglass, an ancient timekeeping typology, each interactive sculpture invites the viewer to consider time through other dimensions and how this influences our experience of life.
Olivia’s nuanced and narrative-driven approach encapsulates the elements of time in three dimensions – the cascade of time, pattern of time, and rhythm of time.
Inspired by ancient timekeeping typologies such as hourglasses, pendulums, and counterweights — Olivia plays with the viewer’s perception of time throughout the boutique with interactive sculptures, immersive sandscapes and objet d’art that appear frozen in time.
