Homo Faber is an international exhibition dedicated to the magic of craftsmanship. Held in Venice, a bastion of the decorative arts, each biennial presents a different theme. In keeping with the Maison’s commitment to preserving, extending and passing on rare savoir-faire, Vacheron Constantin has participated in this event since 2020.

Tribute to the Animal Kingdom
For its 2026 edition, Vacheron Constantin presents 'Métiers d'Art Tribute to the Animal Kingdom', a unique series of concept watches. This collection invites artisans whose crafts lie outside traditional horology to transform watch dials into miniature works of art. Each piece offers a distinct artistic interpretation of wildlife, brought to life on the dial.
The art of restoration
Vacheron Constantin participated in the 2024 Homo Faber edition, dedicated to 'The Journey of Life', an event that paid homage to the art of restoration, a rare skill vital for heritage preservation.
For the occasion, Vacheron Constantin invited the Louvre Museum’s cabinetmaking workshop, reinforcing their artistic partnership as both institutions strive to promote the transmission of these essential skills.
Restorers from the cabinetmaking workshop at the Louvre Museum presented the work they carried out on a mahogany-veneered oak display case with gilded bronze appliqué decoration dating from 1822 and crafted by the famous cabinetmaker Jacob-Desmalter.
The American 1921: An icon reborn
Vacheron Constantin, dedicated to preserving its horological legacy since 1755, presented the one-of-one American 1921 model made in 2021 using early 20th-century techniques for the 100th anniversary of its release. To reproduce the manual operations performed in that era, artisans had to reacquaint themselves with historical tools from the Heritage department.
Les Cabinotiers Minute Repeater Ultra -Thin “Thunder God” and “Wind God”
The relationship between Vacheron Constantin and Japan dates back to the 19th century. Some of the timepieces in Vacheron Constantin's private collection feature Japanese-inspired decorations and ornamentation and certain examples were displayed on the Vacheron Constantin booth at Homo Faber 2022.
