About this watch
The first generation of Overseas watches was introduced between 1996 and 2004 as the successor to the Phidias models in Vacheron Constantin's line of elegant sports watches. The aesthetic appeal of these first Overseas, which were reminiscent of the famous "222", was the work of freelance designer Dino Mondolo and Vincent Kaufmann, a young designer working with Vacheron Constantin.
