The richness of Vacheron Constantin's heritage is showcased year-round in themed exhibitions that travel around the boutiques. “Jewellery creations through time” testifies to more than two centuries of creative freedom in the art of precious ornamentation and gem-setting.
An exceptional heritage
This exhibition is made possible by the exceptional heritage of the Maison, which houses over 1,600 pieces and an archive covering almost three centuries of history.
The art of gem-setting
Artistic crafts were integrated at a very early stage into the watchmaking world as an essential complement to mechanical expertise. Among these different techniques, the art of gem-setting, represented by Jewellery pieces quickly became inseparable from Vacheron Constantin creations.

These exceptional timepieces illustrate Vacheron Constantin's pursuit of high watchmaking, sophistication and glamour.
Watch in platinum set with diamonds
The 1910s saw the emergence of new shapes and new ideas, particularly among women, with watches corresponding to the desire for elegance and emancipation pervading this era. This timepiece reflects this trend, notably thanks to the miniaturisation endeavours undertaken on new watch movements such as this RA 8’’’ calibre housed in this model.
Diamond-set and engraved tonneau-shaped watch
In the 1920s, Vacheron Constantin adopted the aesthetic codes of the Art Deco movement. Watch designs took liberties with oval or rectangular, square or barrel-shaped (tonneau) cases, as on this 1929 timepiece with pivoting lugs ensuring enhanced comfort on the wrist.
Replica of the Kallista wristwatch
Carved from a kilo of gold ingot and set with 118 emerald-cut diamonds of great purity totalling 130 carats, the original Kallista watch, is one of watchmaking's most dazzling creations. It took more than 6,000 hours of work to cut and assemble the hundred or so diamonds. This masterpiece incorporates a Manufacture movement, calibre 1052, considered as one of the world’s thinnest in its category at the time.
The approach to the ladies' creation in the world of High Jewellery extends its fields of expression in 2024 with the Grand Lady Kalla, which opens a dazzling new chapter in the story of this outstanding watch.
