Carry out a full servicing of your Vacheron Constantin piece
Recommended every 3 to 5 years, the Full Service is a complex task that requires several hours of work and preserves the value, integrity and reliability of your timepiece. In the hands of our watchmakers, your Vacheron Constantin piece is completely disassembled, inspected, cleaned and repaired if necessary – all the attention that an exceptional watch deserves.

DIAGNOSIS
To understand the way you wear your watch and to ask you some questions about its use.
CHECKS
Water resistance, magnetism, accuracy: your watch is tested to detect any potential malfunctions.

DISASSEMBLING THE CASE
The bracelet is removed and the links and clasp are checked. The case is entirely disassembled.
EXTRACTING THE MOVEMENT
The case back is opened and the caliber is delicately taken out.

DISASSEMBLING THE CALIBER
Each piece of the caliber is inspected and analyzed to detect any worn out or defective parts. Only the required parts are changed.
CLEANING THE COMPONENTS
All of the movement’s parts undergo ultrasonic cleaning in a special bath.

ASSEMBLING THE MOVEMENT
The caliber is reassembled with care, the components lubricated and the movement perfectly adjusted.
CHECKING THE MOVEMENT
The movement’s accuracy is tested in the five positions of the watch (3 o’clock, 6 o’clock, 9 o’clock, dial up, dial down).

SHINING
Shining is a light superficial polishing that efficiently treats micro-scratches. This is generally an excellent compromise between improving aesthetics and preserving the product.
RE-CASING UP
The movement is put back inside the watch, the case reassembled and all the joints replaced to ensure its water resistance.

CHECK POINTS
Power reserve, setting accuracy, watch functions. Every point is rigorously checked to meet Vacheron Constantin’s high standards.
AESTHETIC CHECK
Before the watch makes its way back to the owner’s wrist, our master watchmakers carry out a final check of the case and bracelet.

You should entrust the maintenance of your Vacheron Constantin timepiece to authorized watchmakers.

Services Lead Time
The servicing of a timepiece may vary depending on each particular case. The time-lead of a complete service or an intervention under warranty is approximately 4 weeks, in case the timepiece is received at a boutique providing watchmaking service on-site. The restoration of vintage pieces may take from 6 weeks onwards. These delicate pieces must be intervened at the Swiss headquarter in the specialized workshops for vintage watches.
To discover the exact service lead-time we recommend you to visit one of our boutiques.

Absolutely. When your Vacheron Constantin watch is repaired or serviced at one of our Service Centers or authorized Boutiques, the work carried out and the components replaced will be guaranteed for two years from the date the work is completed.
