About this watch

Remarkably thin for a tourbillon model at just 11.3 mm, the case boasts strong yet elegant curves and a sapphire crystal caseback, allowing the movement's two-barrel construction and extremely meticulous finish to be admired. The dial features a delicate hand-guilloché motif with alternating hour markers and Roman numerals and bears the power reserve in symmetry at 12 o'clock.

About the caliber

In the early 1990s, Vacheron Constantin decided to develop its first tourbillon wristwatch of the modern era. The resulting piece—derived from a collaboration with Nouvelle Lémania—took the form of the Caliber 1760. These movements, produced until 2000, were paired with 38 mm diameter cases in yellow gold or platinum and launched under the reference 30050 as part of the "Complications" collection.
