2008 – Vacheron Constantin inaugurates a second exclusive boutique in Beijing

On 18 January 2008, Vacheron Constantin inaugurated its second boutique in Beijing, the 9th in China including Hong Kong. The event was attended by Messrs Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, Marc Guten, International Director of Vacheron Constantin, Yann Bouillonnec, Director of Vacheron Constantin Asia Pacific Region, and Charlie Lai, Managing Director of Vacheron Constantin China & Hong Kong.

 

Among the many personalities invited to the ceremony were Mr Kinson Eav, Executive Director of Asia Commercial Time City (Shanghai) Trading Co Ltd, Mr Tom Cheung, Leasing and Business Development General Manager of the Malls Tower Offices and Apartments, Mrs Chen Lihua, Deputy Director of the Palace Museum, Mr Wang Mengjin, Vice Chairman of the China Horologe Association, and representatives of the Swiss embassy in China.

 

In keeping with the Geneva-based company’s aesthetic philosophy, the new boutique offers an exclusive setting, intimate and welcoming, and dedicated to technical and precious Haute Horlogerie. It is simply decorated to highlight an architecture and interior design in harmony with the brand: precious wood, leather and furnishings that emit an atmosphere of confidence and serenity.

 

For watch lovers and collectors alike, this new Vacheron Constantin boutique offers the Geneva Manufactory’s entire collection, including the new Kalla Lune and 1972 Haute Joaillerie families as well as the Malte Tonneau Haute Joaillerie presented for the occasion. What is more, it offers the whole range of Vacheron Constantin services: changing a strap or bracelet, servicing a watch, giving advice or simply providing information on the world’s oldest manufacture, with over 250 years of uninterrupted activity behind it.
