2009 – Les Masques: présentation of the third and final set
A majestic launch for the last four creations in the “Métiers d’Art Les Masques” collection
As a privileged partner of the Barbier-Mueller Museum since 2007, Vacheron Constantin naturally decided to support the exhibition “African and Oceanic Art from the Barbier-Mueller Museum, Geneva: a Legacy of Collecting”, which is currently on show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art through September 27th 2009.
To mark the occasion, Vacheron Constantin organised an exceptional world-first evening event on June 2nd within the prestigious setting of the museum, where 250 guests were able to discover the last four horological masterpieces completing the “Métiers d’Art Les Masques” collection.
After visiting the Barbier-Mueller exhibition, the delighted visitors moved through to the stunning Temple of Dendur Room. During the prestigious ensuing dinner, the third and last set of four “Métiers d’Art Les Masques” creations was then unveiled.
