Grand Théâtre de Genève
For the 2012-2013 season, and to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Vacheron Constantin is supporting the global creation of a new opera “JJR (Citoyen de Genève)” sponsored by the Grand Théâtre de Genève and the City of Geneva. This new opera, composed by Philippe Fénelon, written by Ian Burton and directed by Robert Carsen, presents the major themes addressed by the philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau at various times in his life. “JJR (Citoyen de Genève)” is one of the key events of the tercentennial. In supporting the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Vacheron Constantin helps to promote the culture of Geneva, the Manufacture’s birthplace.

Since the 2013-2014 season, Vacheron Constantin has become a partner of the Ballet of the Grand Théâtre de Genève, therefore continuing its sponsorship of a dance company of international renown.
