The Vallée de Joux is a region of Switzerland located 50 km north of Geneva and just across the border from France. Amid its lakes and forests, it offers an exceptionally well-preserved natural environment.
For over two centuries, the Vallée de Joux has been a haven for mechanical high-end watchmaking, hosting numerous production centres and specialised units of the most prestigious brands in the Swiss watch industry.
The Vacheron Constantin Workshops in the Vallée de Joux are dedicated to Research & Development on movements, as well as to the machining and decoration of mechanical movement components.
Today, the unit based in Le Sentier employs a staff of around 150 people.
