Celestial Mechanics Hong Kong Launch

Vacheron Constantin debuted its latest astronomical timepieces in Hong Kong in a vivid dialogue between the infinitely large and the infinitely small.

Since its foundation in Geneva in 1755, Vacheron Constantin has been in the very heart of excellence with a perpetual determination to seek mechanical precision, and a ceaseless will to master artistic crafts.

In honour of the Maison’s technical and artistic excellence in astronomical horology, Vacheron Constantin proudly debuted its latest astronomical timepieces on 6th and 7th June 2017 in Hong Kong, in an exhibition called “Celestial Mechanics”, creating a dialogue between the infinitely large and the infinitely small: while the heavenly rhythm of the solar system organizes our existence, the mechanical miniatures of intrinsic horological works choreograph the complex celestial ballet of the solar, lunar, sidereal and terrestrial rotations.

Honourable guests at the event were delighted to discover Vacheron Constantin's latest astronomical timepieces including the Métiers d'Art Copernicus Celestial Spheres 2460 RT timepieces, revealed for the first time in Hong Kong.
