2005 - Kensington Palace opens its prestigious doors for Vacheron Constantin

To mark the occasion and this unique anniversary an exceptional cocktail party will be held on May 10th in the splendid setting of Kensington Palace.
200 selected guests will be given the great opportunity to discover eighty highly representative models, retracing 250 years of top-flight watchmaking: watches from the Vacheron Constantin heritage collection, timepieces from the contemporary collection, and above all the creations specially developed for the 250th anniversary.
The choice of Kensington Palace is particularly well suited to the Vacheron Constantin 250th anniversary exhibition. Both are an integral part of collective memory, imprinted on watchmaking consciousness for the Geneva-based House, and on a political level for the Palace, since Queen Victoria was born there in 1819 - a date when Vacheron Constantin was already 64 years' old!
In addition, the 250th anniversary collection will be presented from May 11th to May 16th in our point of sales "Watches of Switzerland", New Bond Street.
