Casing up the movement

The dial is fitted back on top of the movement and the hands are adjusted and indexed. The scrupulously refurbished case is now ready to accommodate the movement.

The entire case and movement unit must meet the specific technical criteria inherent to each piece.

This is a particularly delicate stage, since no trace of dust must enter the movement. This is why the casing-up workshops are located in atmospherically controlled premises.
