Certificate of authenticity

Vacheron Constantin's Heritage department offers you a professional appraisal that gives you a chance to verify the authenticity of your timepiece and the original nature of its components; it will also provide you with a technical and aesthetical description of its characteristics as well as its year of production.

Kindly note that a certificate of authenticity can only be issued after the timepiece has been physically examined by the experts of the Heritage department. It is therefore imperative that the model be handed over to them in person via our exclusive Boutiques or authorized retailers, or sent to the following address:

Vacheron Constantin
Heritage department
10, chemin du Tourbillon
Case postale 95
1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva
Switzerland

This certificate will be issued at a cost of CHF 850 excluding VAT plus shipment and insurance costs, payable in advance.

Only one certificate of authenticity will be delivered per watch. In case of loss or theft of the said certificate, it can only be replaced by a "Duplicate of the Certificate of Authenticity", at a cost of CHF 400, excluding VAT.

The establishment of a duplicate meets the same requirements as that of a certificate of authenticity. A physical examination of the timepiece by the experts of the Heritage department is also compulsory.

We invite all persons wishing to obtain a commercial market value for antique timepieces to contact a specialised auction house.

Please note that no information on our antique watches will be given over the phone.
