Certificate for insurance purposes
The Vacheron Constantin Heritage department can also provide you with a certificate for insurance purposes.
The purpose of this document is to provide the catalogue price (recommended Swiss retail price in Swiss francs including taxes) of a timepiece for insurance purposes only.
This document will either indicate the catalogue price of a model in our current catalogue, or the Swiss retail price of a model at its last date of production by our Manufacture.
It is not necessary for the experts of the Heritage department to physically examine the timepiece in Geneva in order to establish this document. All you need to do is provide them with the case and movement numbers of the watch, either via our exclusive Boutiques or authorized retailers, or by sending the information directly to the Heritage department at the following address:
Vacheron Constantin
Heritage department
10 chemin du Tourbillon
P.O. Box 95
1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva
Switzerland
This document does not certify the authenticity of the timepiece.
The cost of establishing such a document is CHF 150, excluding VAT and payable in advance.
We invite all persons wishing to obtain a commercial market value for antique timepieces to contact a specialised auction house.
Please note that no information on our antique watches will be given over the phone.
