2010 – USA : Collectors Dinner

April  2010 -  Vacheron Constantin hosted a private watch collectors event on Wednesday April 15^th with Wempe Jewelers at Le Bernardin, world renowned chef Eric Riperts’ French-cuisine restaurant in New York City. Hugues de Pins, President of Vacheron Constantin North America and Ruediger Albers, President of Wempe Jewelers, invitedclients and watch connoisseurs to view an exhibition from the historic watch brand, “A Journey Through Time”. Vitrines housed timepieces from the Vacheron Constantin museum in Geneva to accordingly pay homage to the distinguishable decades of the 20^th century. Among the collections, Vacheron Constantin displayed the innovative American 1921 reissued in 2008 and recent winner of the “Watch of the Year” Prize for 2009. Also on display were the recently launched “Ultra-Fine 1955” - residing beside the original ultra-flat wristwatch – and “Ultra-Fine 1968”. Models adorned exquisite diamond ladies timepieces while presenting guests with trays of timepieces from the Patrimony line.
