A symbolic date for the reopening of the Longemalle Boutique in Geneva
September 2014

On September 17th 1755, the youthful watchmaker Jean-Marc Vacheron hired his first apprentice, thereby laying the very foundations of the Maison. The Manufacture naturally chose the symbolic date of September 17th 2014 to reopen its boutique located in the very heart of Geneva at 1 Place de Longemalle.
The 278 sq.m. boutique on the Place de Longemalle has been given a makeover to provide the perfect setting in which to welcome discerning collectors and devotees of Fine Watchmaking. Two watchmakers are permanently on hand in the boutique of which the ground floor displays the entire range of Vacheron Constantin collections, along with some exclusive Métiers d’Art Fabuleux Ornements models and a “Vacheron Constantin les Collectionneurs” vintage collection comprising models accompanied by their certificate of authenticity. Meanwhile, the first floor features a sales area as well as a private lounge.
In addition to standard services, ranging from performing a strap or bracelet change to a complete overhaul or simply providing useful advice, the Vacheron Constantin boutique also offers access to the Atelier Cabinotiers. This department unique within the Fine Watchmaking world provides our clients with an exclusive service involving taking orders for bespoke creations based on their personal and/or aesthetic wishes.
On the occasion of this reopening, devotees of exceptional watches will enjoy a chance to discover a selection of historical platinum models from the precious Vacheron Constantin Heritage collection.
