September 2012 – Vacheron Constantin in partnership with Tasveer celebrates “Divine Moments” by Raghu RaiJuly 2012 to February 2013 - Vacheron Constantin supports the art of photography through its association with Tasveer and celebrates “Divine Moments”, captured by Raghu Rai, through a series of exhibitions across India. The complete range of photographs from the exhibition are traveling across the Tasveer and its partner galleries in Kolkota, New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Ahmedabad. The success of Raghu Rai's career as a photographer is unparalleled in India. His photographs, and the moments they capture, continue to touch his audiences through their rare combination of creative vision and compassion. Raghu Rai’s photographs are about the capturing of time, of freezing 'Divine Moments', which would otherwise go unrecorded; they are like poems to the beautiful, profound, and often-bittersweet concept of time. Photography and Horology share a common ground through their relationship with time. Vacheron Constantin salutes the unwavering passion and craftsmanship of artists and it is within this spirit that it extends its support to the art of photography in India.
