2008 - Unforgettable concert with Inma Shara in Taipei to celebrate the Patrimony line
Inma Shara received a huge ovation at the private concert organised by Vacheron Constantin on 1st October 2008 at Taipei’s National Concert Hall.
Over two thousand people applauded the young Spanish conductor of the prestigious National Symphonic Orchestra of Taiwan, which was accompanied on this occasion by the pianist Ching-Yun-Hu, the 2008 winner of the Arthur Rubinstein competition. Their combined talent and the programme’s romantic and Spanish repertoire wowed the audience.
Vacheron Constantin has chosen Inma Shara to conduct several of its private concerts to honour the Patrimony, a timeless, classic line and the brand’s distinctive signature.
This partnership pays tribute to the aesthetic and technical excellence that governs the creation of the line’s timepieces and is expressed through the conductor’s baton with the same desire to always do better and reach the firmament of watchmaking precision and musical interpretation. A disciple of Zubin Mehta, Inma Shara exercises her art with extraordinary emotion, a subtle combination of technique and the heart, expertise and intuition. In her ongoing quest for perfection, who better to embody the expertise and enthusiasm so cherished at Vacheron Constantin?
For more than a quarter of a century, Vacheron Constantin has been a key player in uniting time and art. Such alchemy inevitably brought the worlds of Vacheron Constantin and music together.
