2006 - Opening of an exclusive Boutique in Dubaï
The number of exclusive Vacheron Constantin boutiques has almost doubled over the past twelve months,with the opening of 7 new boutiques, mainly in Asia.

Vacheron Constantin is now present in Dubaï, having opened an exclusive, intimate boutique dedicated to the Haute horlogerie technique et précieuse, and offering warm, friendly service. Inaugurated on May 22 in the presence of Messrs Abdul Aziz Al Fardan and Yasser Hassan Al Fardan from Al Fardan Jewels & Precious Stones, the Vacheron Constantin Official Distributor in the U.A.E., and Juan-Carlos Torres, CEO of Vacheron Constantin, this new Vacheron Constantin boutique - the brand's 15th worldwide and its first in the Middle East - is located in Dubaï's Mall of the Emirates and is imbued with the same spirit that permeates Vacheron Constantin's Maison Historique in Geneva. The large number of guests and journalists found themselves in a boutique whose elegant decor sets off an architectural style and interior design in perfect harmony with the brand's image: using precious woods and leather, the interior decoration emanates an atmosphere of intimacy and serenity.

In his speech, Juan-Carlos Torres declared that that "every inauguration of a new boutique is a great event for our brand. Vacheron Constantin has always been a great traveller, close to its customers and ready to go out and meet them. Each opening of a new boutique, therefore, spreads the spirit of Jean-Marc Vacheron that little bit further, reflecting our company's great vitality and, in the process, enlarging our international scope. And what a joy it is, 250 years after the foundation of our brand, to be part of Vacheron Constantin's impressive expansion, which now encompasses almost 80 countries worldwide."

Vacheron Constantin's new boutique gives the opportunity for enthusiasts and collectors of fine watchmaking to find the Geneva manufactory's complete collection there, including some of its most important creations, among them pieces from the 250th anniversary as well as a broad range of grand complications like the Les Cabinotiers Platinum Skeleton Minute Repeater timepiece, presented at this year's SIHH as part of the launching of the prestigious Vacheron Constantin Excellence Platine collection.
