2005 - Vacheron Constantin 250th anniversary: 'Light up without dazzle'
The New Year is a Vacheron Constantin one, and in 2005 it will celebrate its 250th anniversary, a unique fact in watch-making history. The festivities that underline the jubilee this year, started on the 3rd January 2005, after the Christmas and New Year celebrations. The manufacturing building of Plan-les-Ouates has been completely adorned with lights that change colour. Spectacular and visible from afar, the building stands out with a splendour, conveying the celebration of a quarter of a millennium of the worlds oldest watch manufacturing in continuous activity since its birth, in 1755. In perfect harmony with Lao Tseu's saying, and now taken by Vacheron Constantin, "light up without dazzle" |
